Alex Volschenk has been selected by Namibia as Ben Shikongo's injury replacement for the remainder of the T20 World Cup 2026 in India and Sri Lanka. Volschenk was approved as replacement by the ICC when Shikongo was ruled out following the right thigh injury he sustained in the match against India on February 12. By a staggering 93 runs, the hosts defeated Namibia in Delhi. They are out of the running for the Super 8s with three consecutive defeats. On February 18, Namibia will play Pakistan in Colombo in its final tournament game.
