Australia has announced its 15-member squad for the T20 World Cup, with Cooper Connolly earning a surprise inclusion. The spin-heavy squad features Connolly, Adam Zampa, Ashton Agar, and Nathan Ellis as spilers. Mitchell Owen and Ben Dwarshuis have been omitted from the squad. Dwarshuis had put together a strong run of performances in the West Indies earlier this year and then against South Africa before picking up a calf injury during the series against New Zealand, which restricted his participation in the series against India.
