Dunkley returns to England squad for New Zealand ODIs

Britain have remembered Sophia Dunkley for the 14-player crew declared on Friday (June 14) for the three-match home ODI series against New Zealand. The 25-year-old hitter is the main consideration in the crew that played against Pakistan as of late. Dunkley, who had last highlighted for Britain in April 2024 on the visit to New Zealand, advanced back to the group at the rear of areas of strength for some in the Rachael Heyhoe Rock Prize, in which she amassed 293 runs in five innings this season. Having made a great beginning to her worldwide vocation, her structure eased off. In 32 ODIs, she has scored 770 runs at a normal of 27.50, which incorporates one hundred years and five half-hundreds of years. Talking on her consideration, lead trainer Jon Lewis said, "We have named a similar crew who completed the new series against Pakistan. I felt we played some strong 50-over cricket in that series and have had superb outcomes throughout recent months. "We invited Sophia Dunkley back into the crew toward the finish of the Pakistan series as her presentation across the homegrown game has been exceptional and she acquired the option to be back in this crew through execution." Crew: Heather Knight, Tammy Beaumont, Lauren Chime, Maia Bouchier, Alice Capsey, Kate Cross, Charlie Senior member, Sophia Dunkley, Sophie Ecclestone, Lauren Filer, Sarah Glenn, Amy Jones, Nat Sciver-Brunt, Danielle Wyatt The three-match series is set to start on June 26 at Chester le Road. The following two games will be played at Worcester on June 30 and Bristol on July 3.
