Haris Rauf has had his central contract reinstated with immediate effect, with PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi admitting the decision to rip up his central contract was wrong. In a significant climbdown for the PCB, Naqvi attributed it all to a misunderstanding, and called Rauf a "star player for Pakistan". "I got a letter from Haris Rauf who put forth his defense pleasantly," Naqvi said at a question and answer session in Lahore. "There was a misconception, and a mistaken choice was taken. His agreement has been reestablished. I was stressed over him since he's harmed, and there were worries about who might work with his treatment. We will currently have protection cover that since he's our headliner, and dealing with him is significant."
