Ian Harvey appointed Nepal bowling consultant ahead of T20 World Cup 2026
In preparation for the 2026 T20 World Cup, which will be held in India and Sri Lanka, Nepal has appointed former Australia seamer Ian Harvey as their men's bowling consultant.
Harvey will join Stuart Law, who is currently Nepal's head coach, and the coaching staff.
As a bowler, the 53-year-old is known for his variations and changes of pace. He brings a lot of domestic and international experience with him. He was a member of the Australian team that won the ODI World Cup in South Africa in 2003. He played 73 ODIs for Australia, taking 85 wickets and scoring 715 runs.
Harvey went on to become a coach for Gloucestershire following his playing career.
On February 8, Nepal will play England in their first T20 World Cup match at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium.
