Hampshire Hawks continued their dominant start to the 2025 Vitality Blast season, securing their third consecutive victory with a commanding seven-wicket win over Gloucestershire at the Utilita Bowl. The match was highlighted by standout performances from pacer John Turner and batter Toby Albert.
Opting to bat first, Gloucestershire struggled against Hampshire's disciplined bowling attack, managing only 119 runs. John Turner led the charge with an impressive 3 for 28, dismantling the top order by removing Miles Hammond and Cameron Bancroft early. Supporting him, Scott Currie delivered an economical spell, conceding just 19 runs and taking two wickets. Chris Wood and Benny Howell also contributed with two wickets each, maintaining pressure throughout the innings .
