Pakistan to host Australia for three-match ODI series

Starting on May 30, Australia will travel to Pakistan for a three-match One-Day International series. The touring party will arrive in Islamabad on May 23 in advance of the first one-day international in Rawalpindi. The second and third games will be held on June 2 and 4 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, respectively. In January of this year, Australia traveled to Pakistan for a three-match Twenty20 International series. Two of their Champions Trophy 2025 group-stage matches were washed out, but they also played all three in Pakistan. Due to the series' timing with the end of the IPL, Australia will likely be without several senior players, including skipper Pat Cummins. Cricket Australia confirmed that IPL participants will be permitted to carry out their obligations without interruption. Since their home series against India in October, this will be Australia's first ODI match. They will subsequently travel to Bangladesh for an all-format tour beginning June 9. Bangladesh defeated Pakistan in the most recent one-day international series, 2-1. They are scheduled to return to Bangladesh for a two-match series after the PSL concludes.
