The captains of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Rajat Patidar and Pat Cummins respectively, have been penalised for slow over-rates during their high-stakes IPL 2025 fixture in Lucknow on Friday.

Rajat Patidar (RCB)
Fined ₹24 lakh
Second offence of the season (first on April 7)
Rest of the playing XII: fined ₹6 lakh or 25% of match fees (whichever is lower)
Pat Cummins (SRH)
Fined ₹12 lakh
First offence of the season
