Rashid Khan set for Test return with Zimbabwe tour
Rashid Khan, the Afghanistan all-rounder, is good to go to get back to Test cricket with the impending visit through Zimbabwe. Afghanistan Cricket Board's CEO Naseeb Khan affirmed the improvement to Cricbuzz on Tuesday.
The affirmation came a couple of hours after ACB declared their impending visit through Zimbabwe, involving two Tests, three ODIs, and as a large number.
Rashid was out of longer-rendition cricket according to the guidance of his doctor following his back injury and thusly missed the Test series against New Zealand. Afterward, ACB declared that he would be away from Test cricket till November while there were questions on whether he could come to the Test crew for the Zimbabwe visit.
Despite the fact that Rashid missed the Test series against New Zealand, he was accessible for the white-ball series, and it was normal that would be the situation for the series against Zimbabwe also.
"We are certain that Rashid will play for us in the Test series against Zimbabwe," said Naseeb. The series will start off with a three-match T20I series, with matches being booked for December 9, 11, and 12 at the Harare Sports Club.
Following the T20I series, the different sides will clash in a three-match ODI series, booked on December 15, 17, and 19 separately at a similar scene. The visit will finish up with a two-match Test series in Bulawayo, with the main Test booked from December 26 to 30 and the second from January 2 to 6.
