Salima Imtiaz becomes the first Pakistan ICC female international umpire
Saleema Imtiaz has become the first Pakistani woman to be nominated to the ICC international panel of development umpires. Imtiaz's nomination makes her eligible to officiate in women's bilateral international matches and ICC women's events. Her first on-field appearance in a bilateral series will be in the T20I series between Pakistan and South Africa starting on Monday in Multan.

Imtiaz is the mother of Kainat Imtiaz, who has played 40 worldwide games for Pakistan up until this point. The senior Imtiaz has directed in 22 T20Is up until this point, 16 on field and in six as the television umpire. Her latest game as the on-field umpire was the Ladies' Asia Cup last in Dambulla, between Sri Lanka and India, in the wake of directing in three others games in the competition.

Ahmed Shahab, Khalid Mehmood Sr., Rana Muhammad Arshad and Qaiser Waheed have been elevated to the PCB Tip top Board of Umpires from the PCB Advantageous Board of Umpires. Qaiser will supplant Shozab Raza, who will resign on 31 October.
The four umpires to be advanced from the improvement board to the strengthening board are: Anser Mahmood (with impact from 1 November), Jamshid Iqbal, Naseer Ahmed and Zeeshan Arif.
