Theekshana replaces injured Madushanka as Sri Lanka bat in final ODI

Sri Lanka captain Kusal Mendis won his third straight toss and opted to bat against Bangladesh in the third ODI in Chattogram. Bangladesh rolled out three improvements to the playing XI for the last game acquiring Anamul Haque, Rishad Hossain and Mustafizur Rahman instead of Litton Das, Tanzim Hasan Sakib and Taijul Islam. While Tanzim is out because of a hamstring injury, Litton and Taijul have been dropped. Sri Lanka in the mean time rolled out one constrained improvement to their side with Maheesh Theekshana coming in for quick bowler Dilshan Madushanka, who will miss the remainder of the Bangladesh visit and the underlying phases of IPL 2024 with a hamstring injury. Theekshana's rebound into the XI gives a twist weighty focus on the Sri Lankan bowling assault. The series is tied at one-all going into this game. Bangladesh won the initial experience by six wickets before Sri Lanka returned firmly in the second with a three-wicket win. The past two were day-night matches where the dew leaned toward the pursuing side intensely. Being a day game, dew is probably not going to assume a part in the third game.
