Ben Lister replaces Kristian Clarke in white-ball squads for Bangladesh tour

Ben Lister, a left-arm seamer, has been added to New Zealand's ODI and T20 squads for the Bangladesh tour. Kristian Clarke has been ruled out with a hand injury, so Lister will take his place. When Clarke attempted to catch for New Zealand A in their one-day match against Sri Lanka A earlier this week, he cut the webbing of his right hand. Prior to the ODI series, which begins in Mirpur on Friday, Lister, who is currently a member of the New Zealand A squad in Sri Lanka, is anticipated to join the team in Bangladesh on Sunday. He has not featured for the national side in over two years. As a late replacement for Rawalpindiz in the Pakistan Super League, fast bowler Ben Sears will miss the ODI portion of the tour. He is expected to join the team for the T20I series, which begins on April 30 in Chattogram and will not be replaced in the ODI squad. The New Zealand also said in the media release that the squad is scheduled to depart for Bangladesh on Monday (April 13).
