MS Dhoni has not traveled to New Delhi, where Chennai Super Kings will play Delhi Capitals on Tuesday, May 6 in their next match. The CSK hero and former captain has returned to Chennai to continue his rehabilitation from a calf injury. Dhoni is clearly still not ready for a match, but the team hasn't said if he won't play in the current season. It was informed by a senior team official that "he should be available at some stage." This season, Dhoni has not appeared in a single game. In fact, his last IPL game was on May 25, 2025, against GT, almost a year ago.
