English All-Rounder Jamie Overton Commits to Adelaide Strikers for BBL 15


England allrounder Jamie Overton will be back in the Big Bash League (BBL) for the 2025–26 season after being pre-signed by Adelaide Strikers, marking his third consecutive season with the franchise. 🔹 Key Highlights: Overton was Strikers' MVP last season, delivering standout all-round performances. His return has been made possible via the BBL's pre-signing rule for overseas players, introduced to combat player unavailability during the finals. With the BBL overseas draft scheduled for June 19, Overton's pre-signing means Adelaide now has their overseas foundation set. Overton has taken 27 wickets in 18 matches at an economy rate of 8.81 and has been an excellent finisher with the bat scoring 276 runs at 69 with a strike-rate of 150.81, including 32 not out off 14 in his last game against Sydney Sixers.
