Codi Yusuf, a seamer from South Africa, has been signed by Hampshire for the County Championship's first set of games. Jayden Seales, who was denied a No-Objection Certificate by his home board, is replaced by Yusuf. Yusuf, 27, has represented South Africa in two Test matches and one One-Day International. During his time playing county cricket for Durham last season, he also appeared in multiple formats. He has an average of 28.22 for 131 wickets in first-class cricket. He will work with new head coach Russell Domingo at Hampshire, who is still in charge of Lions, Yusuf's domestic team.
