Iftikhar's all-round show seals last-ball win for Peshawar Zalmi

In the Pakistan Super League match in Karachi, Peshawar Zalmi prevailed by four wickets to defeat Hyderabad Kingsmen off the final ball. Iftikhar Ahmed's all-round effort helped Zalmi reach 146, and he followed up his four-wicket haul with an unbeaten 15 off 10. In the fourteenth over, Zalmi were in good position, scoring 116 for 3, and Babar Azam led the chase with 43. However, he was bowled by Hassan Khan for LBW, which caused a slowdown as Hyderabad fought back with short overs and wickets from Mohammad Ali and Hunain Shah, leaving Zalmi needing 14 runs in the final over. Before pinching a single to secure the victory, Iftikhar turned the game around with a boundary, followed by a straight six off Hunain. After Iftikhar's 4 for 21 in the Powerplay reduced them to 34 for 4, Hyderabad's 145 seemed unlikely early on. After that, Kusal Perera led a comeback with 58 runs off 35 balls and 82 runs off 55 balls for the fifth wicket with Marnus Labuschagne, who hit 27 runs. Sufiyan Muqeem broke that stand and picked up 4 for 32, including three in the 17th over, as the last five wickets fell for nine runs.
