IPL games to go ahead as teams wait to hear from BCCI

The IPL continues to operate without disruption, despite rising regional tensions and India’s recent military strike on Pakistan under 'Operation Sindoor.' Even in Dharamsala—where the local airport has reportedly been shut down—IPL activities remain unaffected.
Punjab Kings are pressing on with their preparations for their scheduled clash against Delhi Capitals at the HPCA Stadium. Both teams are set to train today and play the match tomorrow unless the BCCI issues fresh directives.
"As of now, we've received no updates or alerts from either the BCCI or IPL authorities. We're sticking to the plan," a Punjab Kings representative told Cricbuzz. Notably, IPL chairman Arun Singh Dhumal hails from Dharamsala.
Mumbai Indians are due to arrive in Dharamsala on Thursday ahead of their match against Punjab Kings on May 19.
Even with blackout drills scheduled for Wednesday night, there’s no immediate shift in the league's plans. “We haven’t been given any instructions from the BCCI,” another team official commented.
Meanwhile, Kolkata Knight Riders are set to host Chennai Super Kings on Wednesday night, with all events proceeding as originally scheduled.
