Radha, Ghosh Fifties Set Up RCB's Comeback Win Over GG, Patil Stars


Radha Yadav and Richa Ghosh's century partnership rescued Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) from early setbacks, with Shreyanka Patil's five-wicket haul securing a 32-run win over Gujarat Giants (GG) in the Women's Premier League. Yadav (66 off 47 balls) and Ghosh (44 off 28) shared a 105-run stand for the fifth wicket, lifting RCB to 182/7. Patil's 5/23 restricted GG to 150, marking RCB's third consecutive win. RCB's powerplay was a rollercoaster! Renuka Singh's first over conceded 23 runs, with Grace Harris hitting four boundaries. But the Giants bounced back, taking four wickets in the next five overs. Kashvee Gautam got Harris lbw, Shivani Singh took a stunning one-handed catch to dismiss Dayalan Hemalatha, and Renuka got Smriti Mandhana caught. Sophie Devine also got Gautami Naik lbw, leaving RCB at 43 for 4. Bell wasn't able to give RCB another strong start as she missed her lines. Beth Mooney flicked the first ball for four.
