Rishabh Pant trains with Yuvraj Singh in Mumbai ahead of IPL 2026

Rishabh Pant practiced with Yuvraj Singh last week in Mumbai as he got ready for IPL 2026. The two of them spent roughly four days at the Brabourne Stadium practicing their batting during the day and at night and attempting a variety of white-ball shots. This time, Pant, 28, who had a bad season last year, wants to make a statement. "He and Yuvraj have a good personal relationship, and they had been talking about the possibility of working together for a few days. "A person who is close to them said it happened last week." Yuvraj, a white ball legend in Indian cricket, has earned a reputation as a coach because he has collaborated with players like Abhishek Sharma, Shubman Gill, and Prabhsimran Singh. Yuvraj is widely acknowledged as having played a significant role in Abhishek's development into one of the most feared T20 batters in international cricket. Pant's white-ball career could also be revived by working with Yuvraj. Since August 2024, he has not represented India in either the white-ball or ODI formats. Pant left for Chennai following his time with Yuvraj, where the Lucknow Super Giants are holding a preparatory camp at the Coaching Beyond stadium in the city. The camp is being overseen by batting coach Lance Klusener and bowling coach Bharat Arun. Other participants include Ayush Badoni, Mohsin Khan, Himmat Singh, Digvesh Singh, Mayank Yadav, and Prince Yadav. After March 15, the camp will shift to Lucknow. LSG kick off their season with a match against Delhi Capitals in Lucknow on April 1.
