Tamim Iqbal appointed new BCB president
On Sunday, the former captain of Bangladesh was named president of the Bangladesh Cricket Board. After the BCB board of directors was disbanded by the Bangladesh government in April of this year, the former left-handed batter was serving as the interim head of the board.
A five-member investigation committee that looked into the allegations against the BCB's elections in October of last year recommended dissolving the board.
Tamim, who has appeared in 391 international matches, has been elected the board's youngest president.
